Canva Affiliate Program

Canva is a browser-based design platform used for social graphics, presentations, video, and marketing collateral. The paying base skews prosumer and small business: freelancers, social media managers, and small teams upgrading to Canva Pro or Teams for brand kits, background removal, and premium assets. A generous free tier does most of the selling, so affiliate conversion is largely about capturing existing upgrade intent rather than persuading cold traffic.

The catch is access. Canva folded its classic affiliate program into the Canvassador Program, a community ambassador track, and that is now the only path to affiliate benefits. Applications are closed most of the time and open periodically, and even existing affiliates had to reapply to keep their benefits. Tracking runs on Impact, and prior Impact IDs and links carried over for accepted members. Canva does not publish commission terms publicly; third-party directories report a one-time bounty per new Pro subscriber, so confirm the current rate inside Impact before building content around it.

For a professional affiliate this is a waitlist play. The audience is consumer-heavy and the ticket is small, so it only works at serious volume. If you already rank for design keywords, apply when a window opens and diversify in the meantime.
